Colombo Port is a rapidly growing maritime hub of the South Asia Region. Cargo originating from and destined to Europe, East and South Asia, the Persian Gulf, and East Africa is conveniently and efficiently connected through the Colombo Port.

We along with our local partner are fast growing institution specializing in providing various services related to Ocean transportation industry and associated sea port services. Established in the year 1989 by a team of veterans of the industry, as a ship supplier we became the market leader in ship supplies within a short span of five years period beating all competitors. Owing to the management teams innovative and dynamic business policies, today we have expanded the business activity to Imports and Trading, Bonded Warehousing and our venture; Duty Free Shop in the Sea Port of Colombo.

Today we take majority of business share at port for retail and ship supplies and have 30 employees working at port.

Colombo being tourist destination, Cruise passengers /crew stats are growing year over year and we being located inside port have shuttle service for passengers/crews to pick and drop from cruise /vessel as shopping destination for them inside free zone

In the last 12 months, there have been 130 million international flights from Africa to different parts of the world. The most purchased category is perfumes (35%) followed by fashion and accessories, electronics and alcohol. Chinese shoppers tend to focus more on beauty including skincare and make-up and alcohol.

East Africa Region

Zambia

Zambia usually considered as being in South-Central Africa its neighbors are the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north, Tanzania to the north-east, Malawi to the east. Zambia has one of the fastest growing economies in the world with Several International Airports and one of the busiest airport being Ndola Airport and Pax traffic is mostly tourists. The Livingstone Airport can handle anywhere from 70,000 to one million passengers a year, the Departures lounge has two duty-free stores where international travelers can purchase items for great prices.

UGANDA

Uganda officially the Republic of Uganda s a landlocked country in East-Central Africa. It is bordered to the east by Kenya, to the north by South Sudan, to the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to the south-west by Rwanda, and to the south by Tanzania.

Entebbe International Airport, is currently undergoing an expansion development in order to address the country’s growing passenger and cargo traffic. The construction of a new international passenger terminal building with a capacity of three million passengers, as well as a new cargo centre that can handle 100,000t of cargo a year. There has been an increase in the first 25 days of November 2020, the daily average has increased to 1,676 with about 41,905 international passengers, and with a total of 21,401 arriving, 17,779 departing together along with some 2,705 passengers in transit that were handled from November 1 to November 25, 2020Uganda Duty Free Sales, Transit Duty Free Sales and JIT competitively operate three easily accessible shops on departure. There are also two Duty Free shops namely Transit Duty Free Sales and Uganda Duty Free Sales at the VVIP facility. Uganda Duty Free Sales operates a duty paid shop at Arrivals area for arriving Passenger.

Diplomatic Duty Free shop operated by Uganda Duty Free Sales is also located on 2nd Floor in the Passenger Terminal building. It offers a variety of goods and operates during office hours Monday to Saturday and only serves Diplomats living in Uganda.

MALAWI

Malawi is located in south-eastern Africa. Its is bordered by Zambia to the west, Tanzania to the north. There are two major Airports Lilongwe the political capital of Malawi and seat of government and Blantyre economic capital and largest city.  Most travellers connect via Johannesburg, Addis Ababa, or Nairobi. TANZANIA

Tanzania is located in East Africa bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north; Rwanda, Burundi and DRC and the to the west. here are two major airports, Pax traffic is mostly tourists

Tanzania’s rapidly expanding tourism sector continues to be a source of great economic promise.There are numerous airports throughout the country, including international airports Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous archipelago off the coast of Tanzania consisting of Zanzibar Island (locally, Unguja), Pemba-Island and many smaller islands. ZANZIBAR is served by many international direct flights that are ever expanding they cater Pax mostly from United States and Europe.

Dar es Salaam Airport has new terminal building (T3) at JNIAthat is set to boost capacity to six million passengers a year. Early last year, the airport authority launched the bidding process for concessions in the terminal, including duty free and four non-duty-free stores covering books and newspapers, a brand/fashion shop, a souvenir shop and a telecoms outlet.
